HYU provides a sacred space to practice a spiritual system of studying & knowing the self. Our services are focused on the spiritual traditions related to KMT, Yoruba & Turtle Island. We facilitate Self Study Services through our 8-week online self study, weekly newsletters & in-person meet ups.

Ethical Teachings

Through our Ethical Teaching we read & reflect on Selections of Husia & Odu Ifa, the basic principles of Nguza Saba, Cardinal Virtues of Maat & the seven universal laws. We remind members of there responsibility to the earth, their community & themselves.

HYU offers spiritual ceremonies for life celebrations such as Union, Commitment, Naming, Birth & Transition/Remembrance through utilizing & referring African & Indigenous American traditions.
