Why Healing Initiative?
The restoration of humanity for Indigenous Americans and Afrikan peoples (often referred to as Black, African American, etc)  has not been addressed. This initiative is taking on the responsibility to contribute to the process of restoring of our humanity through utilization of ancient spiritual understanding and practices. The absence of opportunity to heal allows the cycle of pathological normalcy (amnesia, apathy, alienation, anxiety & delusion) and stops movement forward as individuals, community or nation. We have been waiting for someone else to address our healing but we are responsible for our own healing.

Initial Goals

• Connect with at least 20 organizations to create & utilize a shared calendar of healing activities, opportunities & events citywide all  summer
•  Identify spaces/places for self-healing and self-study
•  Encourage movement toward self governance through self healing
• Monitor and collect data on activities 
• Report to the community the work and outcomes in regards to the commitment to address our restoration
